The Veterans Park Recreation Association (VPRA) partners with Assumption Parish Recreation District No. 2 to keep Veterans Park vibrant and inclusive. Each March to May, VPRA's baseball/softball program hosts over 300 youth, promoting teamwork and sportsmanship. We thank VPRA for their dedication and positive impact on our young athletes and families.

In a significant boost to enhance local conservation and recreation efforts, Dow has partnered with Assumption Parish Recreation District No. 2 at Veterans Park, contributing a generous $40,000 grant covering final details of the new Pierre Part Belle River Water Trails project providing seven trail routes. This collaboration aims to enhance the project’s natural beauty and accessibility of the area, providing residents and visitors alike with additional safe outdoor recreational opportunities.
